Rakuten's Play.com Winter/January sale campaign
Post-Christmas is an important time in retail and as such it's important to get as many people through the door via engaging creative and lock them in to spending any leftover Christmas money once they're there. We tried many different ways of approaching sales over the years and by far the most successful was keeping it really simple. The red colourway was traditional for Rakuten's Play.com sales, as is planning the content heirarchy informed by data from previous campaigns. The campaign took over the website and customers were targeted via social media and email campaigns running concurrently. The onsite creative was updated as per business requirements over the duration of the sale.
