Rakuten's Play.com Christmas campaign
Christmas is often the busiest and most profitable time of the year for online retail and it was no different at Rakuten's Play.com.
I was lead designer on this project. I started with the concept/look and feel of the page, which was then presented to key members of the Christmas project team and refined several times before completion. I constructed and published the page using Sitecore CMS, working closely with the UX team to ensure best practices and wireframe were followed. The campaign was ongoing for approximately 2 months and content was regularly assessed and updated to achieve maximum CTR and sales.
The email and social media campaigns were created concurrently, using data from the CRM and Social Media teams to strategically target customers based on previous results and forecasting.
